Soundfest is a 2-week Chamber Music Festival and intensive String Quartet Institute on beautiful Cape Cod June 20-July 3, 2009 A Senior Apprentice quartet after a performance of the Beethoven 'Serioso' Quartet. Players are from Bard College, Cincinnati Conservatory, Univ. of Michigan & Vanderbilt Univ. PUBLIC EVENTS Chamber Music Concerts with the Colorado Quartet and guest artists Lectures, Master Classes, and Institute concerts QUARTET INSTITUTE Professional Studies for graduate and professional quartets Senior Apprentice for undergraduate students and quartets Apprentice Program for advanced high school string players and quartets Junior Apprentice Program for string players aged 10-13 Soundfest is the recipient of a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
