Musicians Accord: A New Music Project is a New York-based ensemble which presents concerts of contemporary music, and which has had an ongoing musical relationship with the Colorado Quartet. In March 1997, the two ensembles performed the works on this recording in concert at the New School in New York City, and recorded this disc a short time later. The Colorado Quartet performs four works on this CD, and members of the Quartet can also be heard in four other cuts on the recording.
